MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Art of the Lakes Association is to develop and promote interest in the visual arts, to sponsor art exhibits, to stimulate art appreciation among children and to encourage emerging artists of all ages. 

 

MEMBERSHIP BASE

Membership is composed of about 100 artists and art lovers from approximately nine counties in west central Minnesota, centered around or near to Battle Lake.  Persons interested in joining are urged to contact our Membership Chair.  

 

TAX-EXEMPT NONPROFIT STATUS

Art of the Lakes Association is a Minnesota-based nonprofit corporation, and is recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.   The corporate office is located at 108 Lake Avenue South, Battle Lake, Minnesota 56515.

Art of the Lakes is funded in part by a grant from Lake Region Arts Council, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature.
