Artist's statement:
"Painting is a dance, moving with the energy of the moment.
What I'm seeing and feeling in that moment is about my inner space and
is reflected in my painting. I love to paint in watercolor because
the white of the paper shines through the hues and illuminates the color
so the painting seems alive. I love to tell stories about what I
see. I see the play of light on the ground and I want to paint it.
I love to paint with my artist friends because their enthusiasm and
their perceptions give me energy in my work. I am a joyful painter
and love to try and capture the connections I see between people in
their ordinary lives. "
